greater fool, Well, then you are buying AMD. It looks like there will be at least 6 good months for AMD with the mobo rollouts and the Via-133 chipset and it could very well be a year or more. Vote with your dollars. As for risks? They are less now than last year and the market reflects this will a higher price. Will Intel take the ASP down to $50? At it's [eril. flash will sustain AMD for the next year against all Intel assaults. A nice tidy oligopoly is what one analysts predicts. Bill

GF, <AMD has always had a shot at doing well. That's the problem, from an investor's point of view, with the company: there's always a terrific upside scenario. But the risk factors are many, and, in my opinion, outweigh the upside.> OK! Could you tell us a little about your interest in the stock and why you post to this thread? Are you a potential buyer?
