Long SEBL at 78!! Expecting strong earnings and upward push through 52 week high. Growth potential is tremendous and coverage is growing. Watch NASD and SEBL friday, with INTC strong earnings, buying will build again...

Some plausible info on the IBM deal from the Yahoo thread.. Basically the deal is out there for Siebel to win. With a good implementation in the division the rollout of the Siebel software will begin. Smart of IBM and Siebel to withhold the announcement just in case the parties are not satisfied. It would drag their 'affairs' into a very public forum if there were implementation snags/problems.

"My understanding of the deal is that Siebel is currently been installed in one arm of the server division as a pilot. Assuming this works out Siebel will be rolled out to the company as a whole.

Due to the other IBM / Siebel announcements which caused the recent run up of the stock I'm unsure if the internal rollout will effect the share price as it could be tied to the previous deals or be a licensing exchange etc etc . That said it will still be the worlds largest CRM install.
I have absolutely no insider knowledge here I'm just expressing an opinion"
