Pass it on to Laura Crowley? Who can be bothered. These people are acting like we are the ones creating the problems. They think we are adversaries. I have no interest in telling them what they should already know, that their are not getting the message out.

I have so many companies that interest me. GMGC at $2 was a poor sell, but at this price I think it's just as likely to go down as up. There are many really strong stories with good capitalization, dynamic management, market interest and great growth. GMGC is a proven failure. I think their one and only chance is to get bought. If they do get bought, I doubt they could get more than $8 and if insiders know it's going to be bought, they are probably selling now because it's a take under.

Anyway you cut it, pure voice interface is not a viable long term model on a stand alone basis. They have got to have a partner in WAP. Even General Motors is running a WAP browser in their AutoPC. Sure, it's not possible to drive a car and read a screen, but others will provide the same solution such as Phone.com and Motorla which will have full function graphics browsers and full function voice browsers. By the way, you've seen IBM and MOT announce plans to develop the car computer. This will have all functions you imagine GMGC could ever provide.

That plus the fact that all these specialty computers are putting TTS on board and simple Voice Commands for system navigation. My limited experience seeing Delphi, Clarion and Visteon demo their computers perhaps 12 times in just as many different cars, it was very clear that the voice commands are not working. Again and again, the demos failed as the commands had to be repeated over and over again. Yeah, they say the trade show was more noisy that actually driving? Whatever. It was certainly disappointing to see the poor performance. Couple this poor performance with computers that are way over priced and under function and you'll see an idea struggle for another couple of years before it's finally accepted.

So, you take the processing off board and try to use a better microphone. Maybe... it works better. So, why not demo the product? Why has GMGC got no people at the Car Show? I saw Clarion demoed at Intel, Microsoft, and Clarion booth. GMGC does not have to have a booth to show? Onstar should have a section of their booth dedicated to GMGC. They should have people there. How can they not?

So, isn't anyone from SI going to this show. Can't we get a report from Detroit?

If you all don't spend some money and time and visit these things, you are just stuck in dreams hoping these companies can come true. Well, it is not working. GMGC is not in the mind of people who know. I am finally satisfied that I want out. I hope for you all that I am wrong.

Regards,

Mark
