With 1/2 of BRK's net worth in bonds and cash ($35 bil) (not to mention real cash-flow undiluted by the accounting games currently played or outstanding options) awaiting re-allocation should equity or acquisition opps present, I am not sure that would be a bad thing at all. Further, such a spill would devastate capacity in the insurance biz (BRK currently writes less than 1% of its' statutory limit!), thereby raising premium rates and profits for BRK. In fact, I would welcome it.
