NEW YORK (Reuters) - International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM - news) said on Wednesday it had signed a multiyear pact worth $2 billion to supply components to electronics distributor Bell Microproducts Inc.

It is the latest in a string of big supply deals IBM has signed in the past year. Several more are expected to be completed with distributors around the world, said IBM spokesman James Sciales.

``We are making deals with major distributors in strategic regions around the globe,' Sciales told Reuters.
