<<LTBH folks are here and holding strong.>>

OT <ggg - what's OT lately?>: Speaking of LTBH, anyone here read Harry S. Dent Jr's, The Roaring 2000's, wherein he builds a case for a continuing bull market through 2008 and forecasts Dow 22,000? A very interesting treatise.

Welcome, gorillahuntress. Glad you're long QCOM.

One teensy bone to pick: Dips and corrections are wonderful buying opportunities for those of us who trade options on Gorilla stocks, as they allow us to accumulate more stock, at a good price, to add to our core.

There are many many ways to make money on gorillas and kings. IMO, simple LTB&H , while safe, regularly misses opportunities.

LTBH folks are here and holding strong. This is how I see it. We are like owners of a beautiful property overlooking the ocean on which we are building a beautiful mansion that will take several years to complete. We don't know exactly how long, 2, 3, 4 years perhaps, depending on the weather, the material delivery, etc. But we know that when it is complete we will have been blessed with what few others have, not through our intelligence or timing talent, but through our patience.

Now, we bought this property pretty cheap, and when others realized what we had they started coming to us every day and offering us more and more to sell. But we did not, we held it because we know it is worth much, much more than any offers we have had.

Then all of a sudden those who want our property take a different approach. Every day they start coming to us, offering us less and less and wondering if we will sell. If we don't sell today, they come back the next day offering us even less.

Now, we may not be the smartest people in the universe, but we are smart enough to know that if we did not sell our property at the high prices they were offering us last month, we sure as hell are not going to sell for what they are offering today.

In fact, there are some who are doing just that. They are selling today at a much lower price than was offered to them yesterday or last week or last month. We LTH, rather than selling, are trying to buy some more of these beautiful properties at these prices.
