Yogi,
<<Love the productivity improvements, love the cash position, love the VC efforts--- I do believe I'll buy a little more.>>

Yup, same things I like as well. To be honest I was disappointed in the charge-offs and the unit volume. I had expected higher volume and had not expected the one time write-offs Seagate is becoming famous for. And I also have a glimmer of concern for the high end segment where unit orders should get pretty brisk over the next two quarters. Seagate needs to hold on to, and grow, unit share there. I sense a weakness at IBM in the segment (mostly due to internal problems) and hope that Seagate doesn't let that advantage accrue only to Fujitsu and HDD.

The good news is that unit orders are still very brisk with no hint of the normal post holiday lull. I am still hopeful for $55 before the Summer tech dump. If all goes to plan I'll be out, and then back in before chalkboards at schools accumulate there first layer of chalk dust. Nevertheless, I am still very happy to have reduced the position when I did.

Best,
Stitch
