Carolyn and Thread: I think GNET's problems are directly related to the AOL/TWX deal.

Rule #1: The Market HATES uncertainty.

GNET is an internet company. The AOL/TWX deal now puts every internet company in the position of possibly being "the next one to blow it like AOL."

In other words you have maximum uncertainty going into earnings in addition to interest rate worries, blah, blah. It doesn't surprise me that the sellers are running the show today.

FWIW, I bought back GNET at 99 (DOH!) after selling at 109 (YESSS!!!).

Remember that post I posted here last week about all the doom and gloom that the party for the Internet's was over?

That was posts from last year this time. Interesting to review posts from then, almost echos what's on the threads now.

Check my profile, I just posted it on another thread a few min ago.

I just find it interesting watching the mood of investors and people. Nothing ever changes.
