Thanks Sawtooth, Have some more Turkey: SATELLITE STATION FOR ANKARA Ankara is going to have a satellite station a few days before the year 2000. The station has been situated in Golbasi. It will enable mobile phones to communicate without cuts in service and will play an important role in public establishments' and private companies' communication. Turkey will be an extention of the Globalstar, a multi-nation satellite communication network and it will ensure mobile phone communications of the Middle East, Central Asia and Caucasia countries through Turkey.
