KIS, a dose of socialism will be on it's way anyway - as soon as this unsustainable investment mania suffers it's inevitable downfall. it will be a big setback for liberal capitalism, which anyway has begun to fray at the edges with the Asian crisis. i have no doubt that the 'free market' system will be blamed rather than the interventionist Fed which has meddled with interest rates and credit creation thus allowing this dangerous bubble to form. governments all over the world will salivate at the opportunity to restrict their citizens' freedoms and engage in social engineering once again - they will be secretly overjoyed when the BK hits. that's my wild guess...
