Kemble,LEBANON, TN -- Dell Computer Corp. yesterday proved to be as good as its word. Dell officials, who had said Monday they would not let a 1,000-job requirement at the company's new Lebanon plant be a "stumbling block" for a $100 million bond issue, last night dropped their proposal to reduce the 1,000 to 600. With the 1,000 jobs secure, the Wilson County Industrial Development Board approved a tax break agreement as the first, and perhaps the most important, component in approving the bond issue. tennessean.com Pat
