This is true. Perhaps I should have said it differently. Nonetheless, this has been a painful 2000 so far. I'm hanging in there.

Some perspective: I believe that most of us "regret" not selling at 200 high and buying back cheaper--this is a lost trading opportunity in hindsight, but more a symptom of GREED than fear of a true loss.

This is not the same as "losing money" because Q's lost value will be restored when 200 comes back. From a "kinetic" point of view, that lost value is just trapped in the stock, waiting to be realized. For those who were not planning to add more on dips or sell at target price, what's the difference if it hits 200 yesterday or tomorrow?? It's just another milestone on route to higher values.

This may sound simplistic, but it keeps me from selling at the lows (which you may truly regret).
