I would agree with you..its definitely a piece of work...I think that if we try to understand the erratic behavior of this dawg, then we should be able to profit from it some day..who knows when??? One stock that comes to mind it witc,...this stock is trying to be everything to everyone in the e-investing world and the street isn't buying it....it just sits there...I think the street has grown wary of all the little spinoffs and sub divisions of idtc, feeling that the company has lost focus..I also think ntop is going to be headed downward as many other competitors enter the field and this will drag idtc down with it...all in all a pathetic loss of confidence in a stock which held so much promise...only recourse is great earnings...which I don't think, given the crappy margins of this companies primary business, is going to happen anytime soon....NOW, HOW'S THAT FOR WHINING

Looks like the market rewarded IDT's Brix with a 8% penalty. And I'm inclined to agree with the market. Brix is nothing great. I've seen companies do this in the 80's. The only thing IDT stands to gain from this is preferred relationships to enter the retail market. But if IDT wanted to be in the retail market it should have been more agressive when it announced the nationwide 5c/minute rate. IDT continues to plunder telecomm business opportunities in favour of speculative new business ventures which they never seem to follow up on. If I had a dollar per share for every time they announced a new venture (VOIP BMX, Net2Dine, etc) I'd be a content investor. I'd like to know if anyone has ever seen any income on their income statement from these new ventures. I haven't. The only one that did work was NTOP and management were very effective at passing that opportunity on to long term shareholders (not!)

How's that for first effort!
