Justa,
It is a good thing you made note that you haven't actually done that thing to fish. We'd hate to have to report you.

On a serious note to all:
I recall Bob discussing leadership. He said a serious sign of trouble would occur if the Naz stopped providing leadership. I just looked at the charts for the Dow, S&P, and the Naz. I also did some calculations and found the Dow is less than 20 points off its high but the Naz is more than 340 points off.

High Today %Off
DIJA 11,569 11,551 .15%
S&P 1,478 1,432 3.10%
NASDAQ 4,192 3,850 8.16%

So, is it too early to say that the Naz's leadership has gone down the drain?

(In British Columbia, I have not yet got my MT.)

Ciao,
David Todtman

Oh Lord! I just looked at the message in 'preview mode.' Why is word wrap not working?

EDITs- headlines from the FED circuit - as bonds seem to be quiet, & we await Greenshades tonight:

12:28 GRAMLICH: FED IS COMMITTED TO FIGHTING INFLATION WITH OR WITHOUT SPECIFIC TARGET

12:28 FED'S GRAMLICH: INFLATION TARGETING NOT A PANACEA FOR MONETARY POLICY

"..Some investors are also waiting for 8:25 p.m. (0125 GMT) tonight, when Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan is scheduled to speak to the Economic Club of New York..."
-

Speaking of 60% probability, I give a 60% probability that Greenspan will start another Thursday-night-massacre with his speech tonight <g>
