It's more than a safe bet that DELL will have to miss Q4. it's up to the company whether it wants to preannounce or not. I have been holding this view for more than 6 months: DELL is no longer a super growth issue and no one should trust MD's micky blue smile any more. Certainly Wall Street is not putting too much credit on this issue. DELL is still a good company, but is paying for its super growth between 96-98.

No comment on rumors or speculation.
