But CH, isn't the other side of that the inability of people to just look at nyah-nyahs with a bemused expression, shake their heads and go on with their lives, IGNORING the offenses? INstead of saying ugly things just to "test: the waters.
I don't think you can say what you just said without acknowledging mutual culpability. Which is what NO ONE ever seems willing to do and which I finds fascinating. I honestly don't think it was George and Edwarda who escalated this. Rather the permission it granted for others to go to the next level.
To call only one side immature is to become part of the problem.

I don't see that any good was done. Though I suppose fewer explicit references will be made in public to who's ignoring whom. I wonder what the result of that will be.

I also suspect SI wasn't all that concerned about nyah nyah. Just my guess. Those guys are busy.

If some posters put me on ignore and go to another thread entirely, one they've started, and say some generalized nyah nyahs on that thread (not even mentioning me by name), the one started by them, I hope I wouldn't rush on over and noisily and intrusively and confrontationally crash their party. That would be immature, I think. And also... it would seem sort of overly focused on the activities and whereabouts of those who have indicated a preference for not hanging out with me.
