To the thread:

I popped into a CellularOne today expecting to pop right back out again with a Nokia phone. I was surprised to learn that they were out of stock on all Nokia's.

Question: Is this because business is unexpectedly good or is Nokia screwing up deliveries? (Or something else?)

convince you of a top-flight, speculative, science-fiction kind of stock that everybody thought was outrageous...not me.

besides, with Nokia and Qualcomm and Sonera on my plate what would be the point of risking money in a stock that clearly no one knew that much about.

my original point was why Nokia was investing in IDC. and thank heavens, Maurice W. answered it to my satisfaction.
