Escape Clause? News to me. Are you implying that there is an escape clause in the merger agreement, providing either the opportunity to bail out of the deal for any substantial reason. My wife caught the announcement Monday morning where they said they had to wait for the price to come down in order to make the announcement. This whole deal is stinking really badly of price manipulation. The institutions where selling and driving the price down, now, they're proping it up by buying back in. They were/are taking total advantage of "inside" knowledge.
