GM said today it will install as many as 1 million phones in
vehicles this year but wouldn't say which telecommunications
company it was talking to. The people said an agreement with Bell
Atlantic, the No. 2 U.S. local phone company, may come as early
as next week. The companies declined to comment.


If this happens, this is HUGE....I cant wait until Qualcomm starts to collect the royalty off the price of the car <g>.

No Nokia CDMA phone is allowed in GM car

Hmmm - Not in the US where I expect MOT to get the contract,
but what about those Vauxhalls and Opels in Europe....
