Hey stock leader,
The mannequin thing ain't so far fetched. You can go to realdoll.com and have a lifelike likeness of Susan or any other of your favorite females custom fabricated for you to enjoy at your leisure each and every day.

My Uma Thurman doll rocks and she is very low maintenance. <g>

levy,

I just spent 25 minutes typing a response, turned around to watch Sumner Redstone on Moneyline talking about the AOL deal validating the market value of internet content companies and promptly drilled the escape key and lost what might have been my finest post ever.

It was a long day and I need to get outta of SI to order my Stephanie doll so I can take her up to Vermont for the coming three day weekend. Thank God for next day air.

Just briefly

Russ was not there. The "A" team (their words not mine-hope Russ does not read this!) of Mr Keister and Dino gave an excellent 30 minute presentation in front of about 40-50 money managers. There were about a dozen in the breakout session. I polled a few people in the room and the all had positive comments on what they heard FWIW.

Perhaps I can post more later but here are a couple of bullet points:

Reiterated that they have been the fastest growing top 10 media metrix property over the past year.

Talked about the Broadband Partners JV. I think my takeaway on this is that the JV will spend quite a bit of money on R&D and this should result in cool new apps, etc. in the future for GNET. Also GNET will not have to expense this R&D on their income statement which is quite clever and thus GNET will not have this drag on earnings. Somebody please correct me if this is wrong.

They are working on rolling out a wireless portal and we will soon be able to access SI over Palm 7's or other PDA's. This means access 24x7 and on the fly to get quotes, post messages
or even make trades. Apparently a few GNET employees are beta testing these devices as we speak. Cool. The downside is that we will be subjected to levy's humor around the clock.

It sounds like they will be spending some of the large cash hoard on acquisitions this year. I would think they might issue a little stock in conjunction (stock and cash deals) but the cash pile is likely to be whittled down a bit this year as they put it to work.

They are one of only 4 major internet properties that are actually turning a profit-the others being AOL, RNWK and YHOO I think.

Since the AOL deal was announced they have witnessed a a number of companies approach them because they don't want to work with the new 800 pound gorilla. The AOL merger could drive people into GNET's arms I suppose.

No new news on the employee soccer team which means they are most likely still undefeated. They must be resting up for their next winning campaign. Stay tuned.

BTW is RealDoll on HyperMart yet?
