I think leaps make great sense...however, I wouldn't touch the twx's.

First of all, I do think the merger is a great thing as I have said..all one must do is have a vision of the near term future and it is clear that this merger is not only awesome for aol, but that other content based inuts will soon follow. I also think the merger will go thru...it will not fall apart. The mo mom players and the scared naive investors are selling, but the folks that matter like this deal. The big boys will stock up on this stock, and the future will be bright.

However, I have see stranger things happen. And in the remote chance that the deal does fall thru, I would not want to be holding twx. Again, I dont think the deal will fall thru, but at the same time, 2002 leaps will cause at least one year of wonder and worry until the deal passes. I'd much prefer to trade the premium for one year of good nights sleep.

Additionally...I also agree that now it is far more likely that T joins forces with us...in fact, the passing of this deal, makes that far more likely.

Personally, I love the 2001 $60's and the 2002 $60's - $80's, and am buying them as I see fit.

good day to all
