Semi-- Both PLAB and DPMI have good prospects for earnings later in Y2000, and both are expected to achieve earnings growth of 20% or more over the following 5 year period. So either would be a good choice, if you want to participate in the rapidly growing demand for photomasks. My own preference, however is for DPMI. DPMI is a larger company and, in my opinion, has better research in the advanced line widths (below .1 micron). Because the complexity of masks increases so greatly as line widths grow smaller, the revenues of the photomask companies should achieve very large increases over the next couple of years. I will increase my DPMI holdings by the end of the summer this year. Good luck in your investing.
