A bit of midweek reading for you folks, enjoy. ee.ic.ac.uk Both of MRV's newest board members, Tsui & Fischer, are deeply involved in research/development projects which are relevant to the above. Sector, I think you will find some of the material on storage & data retrieval rates relevant within past discussions of such. If I recall correctly, you pointed to the data archieve, its method for storage & retrieval, as a 'bottleneck', relative to transport. Regis
