Dave, Jerry and all - I can now confess that one of the "two people I know" who I said bought more shares on 12/31 was... well, me. I was ashamed to admit it <g>. I paid .065, and here's what's most interesting to me: at .065, the OTC-BB marketplace, in its wisdom, was valuing this entire company at about $1.5 million. Howard Burris got more than that for a few odd assets and the rights to some of the scanning services, while leaving the company intact otherwise! What this series of transactions does is turn the clock back to 1995 or 1996, before the ill-fated NIST project started sucking out all of SMS's liquidity and nearly killed the company. Now, we're back to a mostly debt-free pure high-tech company, with valuable patented technology, that should find its core group of potential customers much more willing to deal with it now that there are actually funds available to build the product. Don't forget, we still haven't heard from the potential customer in a different field that was so impressed with the demo last fall... and I'm still guessing that it involves quality control for wireless products or some other type of small electronics that some may find sexier than engine blocks. Do I sound at all optimistic? <VBG> -Eric

Thank's for the complement. But my knowledge of SCMS had nothing to do with it. I just chose this particular stock to ride to the end fighting by buying more shares. Reason:
The quality of the customers was high. I am no expert on the viability of SMS.
