Elmer - Re: ". Maybe he does have an inside contact and maybe something is seriously wrong?"

Intel never set a date for Willamette's release - so even if it doesn't ship until some time in 2001, how can anybody say it slipped?

Besides - Coppermine appears competitive with the AthWIPER - so the Willamette won't even be needed until some time in 2001 - or maybe later.

Re: Willamette <maybe something is seriously wrong?>

There are three reasons why I am long to my gills in AMD:

1. Merced
2. Willamette
3. Athlon

All three are exceeding my wildest expectations <GGG>.
