Weeeeeell Kevin... considering the demands for storage, maybe the performance of EMC you see over the past two years is *normal* for EMC :)

Maybe its time to get rid of those short term trades and go for the long term high returns. Let's see, besides EMC and SUNW, how about taking a look at STM as good places to park your money, sit back, and smell the roses while your portfolio appreciates in value.

that Y2K worries are past.


Yes, Y2k is past, now bring on W2K...mmmm, upgrades, upgrades, upgrades for Intel based servers, workstations and PCs. I'm sure EMC tags along for some of that, maybe, especially with the Clariion (odd spelling, isn't it) boxes. Mid-size fits in well there.
