gary: I am truly puzzled at what is going on in the market place vis-a-vis MSFT stock. I guess they are running one fire sale after another. With regard to Jesse Berst he has never had a good idea in his life. His only agenda is anti-MSFT. I personally do not favor a breakup of MSFT but I cannot see that as the catalyst for this latest selling of the stock. The parts would indeed sell for more than the whole. There is either something else afoot or the sellers are incredibly stupid. Certainly the breakup has always been the creme de la creme sought by the DOJ and its minions. So to me this is not a new development. It reflects to me that the states and DOJ do not have a considered and cohesive position on what remedies would be appropriate so they have agreed on the most Draconian o which to agree and to submit to Posner. This is the logical place for anyone to start in such an adversarial proceding. Therefore I do not see the reason for investor selling based on this "news" in that it should have been anticipated all along. I still maintain that this is a great buying opportunity for late comers. JFD
