I got my PhD about 6 years ago, and that did not prevent me from working in one of the top scientific institute (ala Johns Hopkins medical school) to get my PhD. I believe that JHMS is certainly one of the top two medical schools in the US.

As far as my YHOO! portfolio goes, I have not made any changes since about 12 months ago and yet my true portfolio has changed considerable during that period of time: QCOM, PCS, CSCO, and MSFT were my biggest holdings in 99. I was bullish on DELL during 97-98 and sold out all in early 99.

Some of my best friends work in CRA, INCY etc.

Wish that helps.
