Isn't the bottom line here that, however you feel about the merger, you really have to consider looking elsewhere if you are after the sort of untamed growth that AOL provided while it was an Internet pure-play?

Well maybe. But if we believe passionately in the Net, why shouldn't we look for net pureplays to invest in? Was rather hoping the Net would turn traditional media on its head.

What would Stuart and Mr. P do?
