My father-in-law called me last night from Japan wanting some investment advice. It seems his broker is telling him that genomics is hot and that Celera is the stock to buy. I told him that the sector is probably over-extended right now and may be due for a selloff, but longer term this is a very exciting area. I suggested dollar cost averaging in over a period of months, but said I would choose Incyte or Millenium if it were my own my money.

By the way, Naz Japan is now open. Japanese investors can now purchase any Nasdaq stock, I believe. There is a lot of buzz around biotech over there. Sounds like more volatility to me.
