I like it. The fact is that ATHM has access to ~40 million more homes that AOL/TWX. The current install routine is like trench warfare-- painfully slow. Late this year, we should start seeing less labor intensive turn ups. Hopefully, by then Bell and his folks are going to have a more compelling interface & content story.

No need to panic. I wonder what T does if Portland is overturned? Why wasn't Hindery ousted sooner? Any idea what Ma Bell used to make on her Yellow Pages content?

I'm still looking up "instantaneous utility".

What do any of you think of the above rambling?

It's a good start. I'd say there is no doubt that ATHM is vastly more prepared for subscriber growth and BB delivery than any other company.

This might push AOL and ATHM towards each other as they attempt to gain share. I'd say that it might also push AOL and ATHM's MSO's into deals but at this point AOL has nothing to offer.

AOL has the TWX cable systems and RR to offer.

Of course you are right. How long are we going to have to wait before this becomes obvious?

2 years? 3? 5 maybe even.

I've been struggling for a long time to understand why ATHM stock has been doing so badly in such an amazing market. I finally get it- AOL/TWX has shown me the light.

It doesn't pay to be right. It pays to be "in".

Eric
