Hi Harry, it is purely a contrarian play. As many others have pointed out GS is in a bind... frothy section of the market will not suffer if the rate is below 9%. However, if he tightens the rate, others who really want capital will suffer. Probably economy will suffer a lot if he keeps raising interest rates. I was planning this as a quickie... but after looking at the OI of TYX options, I have decided to skip playing TYX options. I will try to buy some financial stocks after the news. -Suresh
