I cannot verify that it was actually Ravi Sarathy of Lehman who issued the upgrade to 200,000 yen, but my source is normally very reliable. It fits in with the Goldman Sachs target of 184,000 yen and I suppose that Ravi wouldn't want to be left behind with such a puny forecast <G>. (If He read this board, he would know that a timid prediction like 200,000 had already been upstaged by a factor of as much as four in advance of his upgrade.) I believe that very few mainstream analysts have ever predicted more than a doubling in one year for a stock that is capitalized at $100 billion. I can hardly wait for Merrill Lynch to check in with another daring prediction for perhaps 108,000 yen <G>.

In passing, I see that Frankfurt is at $908 mid afternoon there.
