Welcome Kai! Friends of Jay are friends of this thread.

It doesn't take much to get me to Umbria/Piedmont, so be careful about those invitations.

welcome kai.

nice to finally get to know the "mysterious" person in the background that jay often talked about!

another progress for this very exciting thread ;-)

feel free to post on topic and off topic messages since you seem to know a bit about investing (at least you made the right pick/s one year ago):-)

looking forward for your contributions.

best to you
sunny

I add my welcome! And second that caution about invitations. I'll be in Rome late-April through June and barely a hop and skip from that porch!

best,

manohar

Welcome to the greatest board ever. Maybe I'll never show up on your porch but my heart is there.

Hi Kai, welcome to the side of light.

Now back to serious business. I bought a batch of Softbank call warrant (replacing the 9984 I sold earlier) issued by Goldman Sachs (March 2001, strike Yen 56k) for Euro 4.57. Leverage is over 2, premium is under 10% and apparently fairly liquid, although Reuters does not even have real time price for it. The out of the money warrants are trading at 25-30%+ premium. I am prepared to buy more should a dunking happen. I have not had a chance to look at these chips closely yet. Buy first, ask questions later, as the next leg up for 9984 appears at hand.

I will now look at selling puts/calls at the money and going long on VERT, ICGE. Apparently the combined premium is 50% of the price of the underlying stock. I think the party is about to start on VERT and ICGE as the IPO lockup is expiring in a few weeks.
