You could make that statement about any company, why pick on INTC?
As to the rest of your comments, I agree INTC should be looked upon as a long term investment. Anything could happen in the short term but as a premier high tech, blue chip company with tremendous management, financial resources, investments of about 5 Billion, (I understand not verified) in promising startups, huge number of paid for Fabs, etc etc. it will rebound and be a big player in the World. It's scary but I agree. Short term INTC not a compelling buy. 43 times earnings at a time when they've had to almost commodity price their sales (due to unavailability of RAMBUS) and lost sales to AMD with VIA chipsets...The report won't be awe inspiring. Second half of the year should regain some luster. Probably not until stock has traded into the 70's....(just my opinion).
