Still though, part of an analyst's job is to run the numbers. As I've said many times before, there is more to being a tech analyst than knowing technology. At a real investment bank, an analyst who went out with a top pick days before the company pre-announces worse than expected earning would risk losing their job. -enam PS- what ever happened to that ole "net essentials" list? Seems like some of those picks have fallen by the wayside...
