VISX down big again, below the previous low of ~$49-1/2 reached on the negative ITC ruling. Is the market's response today correct, or merely "near-sighted"? I have a few Mar55 calls that hope this is another overreaction. Regards.

Perhaps we can draw a little comfort from the fact that Michael Murphy doesn't have a real good track record. Sometime in the last few months I read a short piece in one of the investment magazines I get, probably SmartMoney or Worth, that revealed the negative truth about the fund Murphy manages. If I can find it I'll post a link.

I'm afraid we're in for a long wait for this stock to recover. It may take several quarters to disprove (hopefully) the street's assumption that a price war in eye surgery will be negative for VISX.
