..Is the SEC turning a blind eye to this OBVIOUS manipulation? If you want a really cynical answer, yes. What kind of a hornet's nest would they be stirring up if they attacked the entrenched interests that benefit from the existing system? It's easier to look good by making an example of Tokyo Joe and striking fear into the hearts of anyone who does anything similar. This is NOT a statement about the rights or wrongs of the case against Joe, or that people who allegedly pump and dump or lie about their connection with a company should get away with it, it is to me an indicator of where the SEC's priorities lie.
