that's when his capital gain tax timeframe will be over. in germany, gains made of investments within 12 months are taxable with your personal income rate (in most cases around 50%). after the 12 month timeframe the gains are non-accessible. so kai doesn't have to pay taxes on his gains made with softbank by jan 18th.
