Very good, excellent! IMO Dell's attraction is not so much what products they sell but how they sell them. And now how they are branching out and using the internet to sell them. Dell is arguably on the way to becoming THE#1 innovator in how to USE the internet. And that's what I feel the street is missing.

CPQ is still trying to successfully copy Dell's 100% original marketing success. Now they have the gumption to brag, their direct sales will be 40% of their business -not by innovation but through acquisition, in 2000 and the street immediately rewards their stock.

Dell needs to communicate BRAG! more of their continual marketing ideas. Perhaps they consider that proprietary, their source code so to speak, and do not wanna let too much of it out in speech? Or maybe Dell is waiting to become the #1 world leader before they start their bragging?
