Yes, 100, 2+ Mbps HDR would be ideal for this, except that for a typically fixed installation (home theater), cable might be the first thing people go to for broadband. However, for those, like me, who prefer satellite, or for a LAN-based home system driving several applicances, as well as the cellular, HDR would be the way to go.

One thing I forgot to mention is that with this Dish Player I also get the capability to pause and restart the program, up to 30 minutes worth, and this is also free, bundled with my $199 unit. For an extra subscription (which I am not getting), you can also get the capability to rewind, fast forward, etc, Like a TiVo unit.
