Bob,

I don't know why CVS doesn't carry Zicam yet. It seems to me that they are about the only large drug store chain who doesn't stock it. I'll fish around and see what I can find out. Walgreens ran a nationwide advertisement for Zicam in last week's Sunday newspaper. I noticed that many of their stores sold out shortly thereafter. I determined this by visiting and calling stores. While this is only one chain, I think it is indicative of sales at most chains and Walgreens has about 3,000 stores. Several reports from the media and online retailers indicate that Zicam is selling out at many stores but they have been restocked now. First quarter 00 revenue could easily double what I expect in the fourth quarter 99.

Two new market makers started trading GUMM today. They are Joseph Stevens & Company (JSLP) and Phillip Louis Trading (PILL). RHCI also began making a market in GUMM recently. While all three of these are relatively small broker/dealers, it indicates that they are interested in GUMM. I don't think that a market maker would begin trading a stock to take a short position. The company and Gunn Allen have been talking to broker/dealers, and it's possible that this has something to do with their presence. I think that it is a very positive sign that new market makers are trading the stock.

Luck to all,

Dan

Bob:

You are welcome.

I went into the Sav-On across the street from the hospital and five months ago very few employees had heard of it. Today, a manager and a stocker were in that section and they both new what it was, where it was, and the manager stated "it is supposed to be very good" and that they had it in two locations in their store. Very good news to me. They had a bunch in stock and the manager said it was selling very well (I told her I was a shareholder).

Come visit California and stock up!
