i have the bruises to prove it ;-( there was one brief time where lgnd made it around $17 or $18 before nosediving like a plane that just had its wings clipped.

let's hope - this time is different. it might be. rotation out of the nets may have folks reviewing other investing options. ;-)

I don't think it's necessarily performing strangely. We haven't been in this territory for a long time and it appears there just isn't much left around here to sweep up. If that is indeed the case, the price should move easily.

Note that a significant number of trades are still going off outside the bid/ask spread. Those are likely 10K blocks that simply don't get shown and they're possibly being collected for institutional investors. I for one am not that liquid!
