Scott,

I was kidding Paul about NT and he was joking back I believe. WIN98 is far less secure than NT ever thought about being.

I'm switching back and forth between NT and Win98

only because I haven't had time to prune and transfer the data from the Win98 system. So I have to use the WIn98 system until I move things. (Just solved my 3COM network card problems last evening too.)

My intent however is to create an NT system (it is better for my graphics adapters which have NT designed drivers) that has nothing on it I can't afford to have stolen, lost, wiped, etc.

A pure internet box. Maybe someday I can replace it with something that isn't a PC!

I was joking about the shared drives guys!

But on another level, I think I can still turn off the Borg connection to my cable modem network although I wonder sometimes when they slip one of those commercials into the news on TV as news! Same pipe. Let's see let's replace that NBC billboard on Time Square with one from CBS. Did anybody except a reporter for the NYTimes notice?
