Wolff: You are not looking ahead tothe things that software writers will require a uP to do. As streaming video and sound become part of the everyday expectation on the internet the need for processing power will quadruple. The PC as we know it will become a TV capable of recieving 10's of thousands of channels of interactive TV. The processing power will always be required. You sound like a highway planner who thinks the next 2 lane expansion will end all traffic jams. Never happens. JFD
