Well Mo, good stuff, we all I hope have a better understanding of what Debian is and I can wine more informed. Now my perception of Debian is somewhat changed but my evaluation is not. When I was a real N-gin_ear many times I used the expression, Well it's time to shoot the engineers and get the job done. Alas Debianer's all wear bulltet proof vests. I would also guess that 700 of the 500 Debian maintainers today in no way shape or form have any interest in Wine. This is the pervasive affliction of the Debian camp. (It's a little boy's who never grew up religion thing) By this I mean that engineering purism means that the Debian distribution will never be Joe User friendly at many levels. Now if one come from the old school of lock in customers then Corl is wise in using Debian. Wine also fits the customer lock in scenario. I think that the old school is a bad idea. So to me Corl is built on a Linux foundation of the pure of the purest of Linuxers. Generaly better is found in some moderation and compromise. Chaos, invisible forces and plan. The Corl plan goes against the invisible forces. Will chaos might come to the rescue? naahhhhh!
