JW,
Here is what is on the horizon to light the fire.
1. BAM will have a national footprint.
2. BAM is close to agreement with GM for wireless and internet service built into auto's and trucks.
3. T may be in the running but their antique system and huge gaps in their footprint make this unlikely. T has toll free nationwide calling in their service area but many areas don't have local numbers so you can call but anyone calling you has to pay the toll. A big drawback for customers, so big it wouldn't work.
4. CDMA is the standard.

How about a medium sized firecracker,

SPX up 10 points while the dow only up 23. And best of the lot the bond yields have been falling all day, recently at 6.664%. Interesting to see whether this is a harbinger of things to come.
