My apologizes to those that were trying to help me with my qcom/globalstar phone. YOU ARE RIGHT!!!! They do not have satellite service in Aruba.....I had asked if it worked in Aruba and the idiot told me yes. Well only if I use my credit card on the cellular part.....I had pulled up the map on the internet and it shows that Aruba is covered already.....I assumed covered was working. Gotta look up the word covered. I will however test it ever so often and see how far out it will work. I know my cellular stopped before I lost the sight of land. I will get back to you when I get back. I will be charged regular cellular rate for the call plus long distance. My charge bill will be very interesting when I get it. I thank you guys for trying to help me when your help was not wanted but needed. Still not upset by purchasing the phone because I will eventually use it. I might stay home and play with my stocks until they get this thing off the ground. I guess this would be a good time to travel in the states. Lots of things to see here. It does work here anyway. My apologies again and thanks for all of your help! People on this board are so nice and always trying to help. dealer P.S. Now after all that let me tell you what I think. I think it is going to work but they are not licensed and can not tell me that. Will report back. Enough said.......I will leave the rest of my thoughts til I get back.
