re: "5" or "Strong Sell" rating on AMD. I believe that I have traced it to its root. According to "Chuck" (HE is cool) Schwab (The company and not the guy) that rating originates with Argus Research. Argus, years ago, when I was job hunting, had a reputation for loading their analysts with more companies than any single human can follow and over working them to the point of potential loss of capability to do a diligent job if there were less than 30 hours in any given day of a 9 day week. It seems possible, at least to me, that the guy or gal who rated AMD a "5" has not punched in its symbol in several months or, more likely, that they are gone and no one has been getting around to doing an update. After all, there must be at least 60 or so stocks ahead of the "diligent" review on AMD.
