And AMD will once again be left behind. Many people consider integration to be the next step for low-end PCs because they shave costs. By the time AMD's low-end Athlon (code-named Spitfire) is released, Intel will be close to releasing Timna. Timna integrates the CPU, the graphics controller, and the memory controller onto one die. No doubt Timna-based PCs will be even cheaper than Spitfire-based PCs.

<I have heard that Intel is arrogant>

If Intel is arrogant, that means Intel isn't being paranoid enough. And as we all know, only the paranoid survive.

Unlike what you have heard, I have every reason to believe that Intel is much more paranoid than you think.
